Metro-North to Restore Hudson Line Service Levels, Effective Sept. 20

Updated September 20, 2021 1:30 p.m.

Effective Monday, September 20, Metro-North will return to its regular schedule, which took effect on August 29, as crews continue to make progress repairing damage caused by Tropical Storm Ida.

The schedule, which returns several previously suspended trains as a result of storm damage, will offer 82% of pre-pandemic weekday service and 100% of pre-pandemic weekend service. Additionally, some train times will be adjusted to reflect earlier departures and later arrivals due to reduced capacity on the Hudson Line because of landslides and culvert damage caused by Tropical Storm Ida.

Customers should expect 1-10 minute adjustments to most Hudson Line trains to accommodate storm-related repairs as well as ongoing infrastructure projects.

Please check the MTA website for updated schedule information.
