The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) today hosted an open house at the Bronx High School of Science for qualified candidates interested in careers as bus operators at New York City Transit. More than 1,000 prospective candidates, who must have a driver's license and proof of commercial driver's license or permit, attended.
"Hundreds of New Yorkers are eager to join the NYC Transit family," said NYC Transit Senior Vice President of Buses Frank Annicaro. “Bus operators are an integral part of the city’s transit network who millions of people rely on every day.”
