Chief Jatindranath began his career as a Police Officer with the MTA Metro North Railroad Police Department in 1993. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2004, Lieutenant/Executive Officer in 2008, Captain in 2011, Inspector in 2017, Deputy Chief in 2020 and Assistant Chief in 2021. His assignments include Patrol and our Emergence Operation Center. He served in all three regions covering Metro-North Railroad, Staten Island Railway and Long Island Rail Road. He currently serves as Assistant Chief of Patrol.
Chief Jatindranath attended Borough of Manhattan Community College.
